Alex Txikon
Alex Txikon je jeden z nejlepších himalájských horolezců. Vylezl již 12 osmitisícových vrcholů včetně zimního výstupu na Nanga Parbat. Známý je především svými zimními výstupy. Nyní čelí zatím jeho největší výzvě a to je výstup na Everest v zimě bez přídavného kyslíku, což se zatím nikomu na světě nepodařilo.
Alex Txikon is one of the best mountaineers of the Himalaya. He has climbed twelve eight thousands meters high peaks including the historic first winter ascent of Nanga Parbat. He is well known specially for his winter expeditions. Nowdays he is facing his greatest challenge: Everest in winter without supplemental oxygen, an achievement that has never been done before.
